Established in 2008, The Boathouse began with our Palm Beach, Sydney café. 10 years on, the Boathouse Group has expanded to eleven venues. Our offering includes dining, homewares, accommodation, weddings and events..

We firmly believe in contributing to the local community in a positive way as we try and provide a classic Australian beachside experience.

We have always aimed to create experiences people love. We do this through high-quality products and ingredients as well as through service that is both genuine and fun.

Venues

  • The Boathouse Palm Beach

    A cafe, bar and homewares located in our iconic 1 Beach Road location. After a refurbishment of the original 1920's beach shack, we have now reopened The Boathouse Palm Beach.

  • The Boathouse North Wollongong

    Located on the top level of the North Wollongong Surf Life Saving Club right on the beach, the venue comprises a bustling bistro and more casual pub-style offering in the bar and terrace.

  • The Boathouse Shelly Beach

    The Boathouse Shelly Beach in Manly offers a cafe open for breakfast and lunch, a kiosk for take-aways and a private weddings and events space.

  • The Boathouse Balmoral

    The Boathouse Balmoral is a waterside café open for breakfast and lunch.

  • The Boathouse Hotel Patonga

    This is our first venue on the Central Coast located in a picturesque fishing village. We have combined our simple Boathouse style with an already iconic Australian Hotel location.

  • The Boathouse Rose Bay Cafe

    The Boathouse Rose Bay has a cafe located on the lower level of Rose Bay Marina open for breakfast and lunch daily. Our restaurant is located upstairs and is open for lunch and dinner.

    A heritage listed guesthouse and restaurant located in Palm Beach, it offers relaxed, yet sophisticated surroundings with seven guesthouse style rooms.

    Manly Pavilion is a heritage listed waterside venue in Manly, Sydney, offering a restaurant and lounge space upstairs, as well as a wedding and event space downstairs.
